I'm very meh on it. Could be worse I suppose.
Honest thoughts, whereas I can appreciate the legend the man is, I am sick of the NFL going back 20+ years for the Super Bowl halftime show from their giant overreaction from the Janet Jackson nipple-gate.

Me too, lets see we have had The Rolling Stones, Paul McCartney, Janet Jackson, Tom Petty, and now Bruce. Is Michael Jackson and the Monkeys next? Or Michael with a monkey?

They had Prince also. I think the NFL is just trying to get legendary musicians.

Well he is a legend, and it will probably be better than the Nelly and Puff Daddy halftime shows, but still not really that big to me personally. I hope people remember that "Born in the USA" is widely misinterpreted as a patriotic song when it's really about the problems and hardships viet-nam vets went through after coming home.

EDIT: Btw Michael Jackson already did a SB halftime show to the above poster.

You know NFL, there are acts under the age of about 65 that could put on a good show. Jackson shows a nipple and now we gotta see these guys come outta retire to do a halftime show. Atleast it gives me time for a good bathroom break

Holy smokes, it's almost as if nobody has made this same reference.
