That is sick. Why in the world does it take so long to pass sentence on someone convicted?

The sentencing was repeatedly delayed while Phillips fought to withdraw a guilty plea in a domestic abuse case that could have led to a stiffer sentence.

If my son was one of the kids he ran down with his car,he wouldn't have had to worry about a stiffer sentence. He would have had to worry about the resurrection.

No doubt. At least no one was killed by this idiot. Considering his anger management issues that's a plus.

I can't think of a more ridiculous thing for anyone let alone a former pro athlete to do than what he did. Seriously, you lost a pickup football game to some kids some you go and run them over with your car? Are you kidding me? Glad to see him out of the public where his spontaneous insanity isn't a threat to anyone anymore.

I saw that. Why is the system trying to help a convict escape punishment he earned? He shouldn't be getting a break. They'll stick a pregnant woman in jail but they let this guy take 2 years to weasel out of punishment he's been tried & found guilty for?
