Negative. It is the coach's job to put him in to a position to succeed. Why is he handling the ball there? Hand it off to a running back. Does Rosenfels shoulder some blame? Absolutely...he fumbled twice, but the playcalling was atrocious.

Re: Colts @ Texans

3.54 the colts have one timeout left 3rd and 8 Texans up 27-17

Sage runs a naked bootlegg with the option to pass or run he see he can get the near the first. 3 defenders chargin at him. What will Sage do?

Option A: slide and take the 5 or 6 yard gain and let the coach decide wat to do on and 4th and 1.

Option B: Try to run out of bounds and avoid the big hit taking the 4 yard gain.

Option C: Try to nose dive over the defenders get whirlybird fumble and have them take it for a td the other way.

Re: Colts @ Texans

Just because a run wasn't called on third down doesn't mean you do stupid crap and try to helicopter your way to a first.

Re: Colts @ Texans

Bingo.

The decision to pass on 3rd down on the next possession was correct as well, a 3 point lead wasn't going to stand up. The Texans needed first downs, but they also needed Rosenfels to play smart. He couldn't, so they lost. End of story.
