Would love to see Gonzo get a ring, and think that could def happen on the Giants, but since the trade deadline trading is rare in the NFL, I doubt it.

ESPN LINK

Who really needs a TE? The Giants have a decent one in Boss (not great, but he has exceeded my expectations). Do the Giants really need TG for 10 games? At this point, I think he will be retiring after this year.

I think where-ever he goes the receiving team will have to give up a QB and maybe even a Draft Pick or another player. The Chiefs need a QB...BAD...lol.

Just my input-

TG for Troy Smith and 3rd Rd Pick?
Baltimore could use someone to take over where Todd Heap is lacking this season... Troy Smith is now the team's back-up since Flacco has been amazing for a rookie.

TG for Vince Young (Straight Up Crazy?)
TG wants to win a Super Bowl... The Titans seem to be on their way under Kerry Collins. Young has been a head case in Tennessee but maybe a change in surroundings is what he needs.

If its draft picks in exchange for Gonzalez and he goes to a playoff contender, this would be more likely than players in the trade imo

The ESPN article is weird for calling Boss a disappointment. You can't call him a disappointment because he's blocked well and caught everything thrown to him.

Sure, but not because of Troy Smith. The third rounder would be the deal maker, Troy Smith would just add to it.

No, just no. I think I'd become a Bills fan if that happened, and would completely disown the Chiefs.

Re: Tony Gonzalez to the Giants?

If the Giants are willing to give up what they got in the Shocky trade, a 2nd and 5th round pick, the deal would be done. However they have only offered a 5th and CP won't take that deal. Also no way T.G. goes to a team like the Ravens, if he can't get a deal to a contender he will stay put.

I would think the Giants and the Titans would both love to have a TE like T.G. I'f I were the Titans I'd offer KC a 2nd round pick and Crumpler for T.G.

So far this season:
Boss - 5 catches for 60 yards , 1 TD - Superbowl winning QB throwing to him
Gonzalez - 21 catches for 193 yards , 2 TD most of the time while double covered with a no name crap QB throwing to him.

If the Giants want to stay on top of a tough division this would be a great move for them. Personally I'd rather see T.G. on the Titans, I can't root for a NY team.
