Sad but true. As I type this there is a thread over at CowboysZone in which a few people are claiming that Pacman should sue the NFL.

I was opposed to signing Jones all along. Cut his butt and move on.

this suspension basically got Dallas two new draft picks. They got the 6th back that they originally sent to Tenn, and they used that in the Roy Williams deal. They also have Tenn's 5th rounder now.

im thinking Pacman is done for the year, but he wasnt exactly playing lights out anyway. Terrence Newman should be back in a month, hopefully.

The good news was, he was from a draft pick money and standpoint a low risk high reward type signing. So at least it's not going to be a killer on Dallas.

True, but as I pointed out last spring when the Pacman supporters used that argument, that fact does nothing to fill the hole in the roster created by Jones getting himself suspended yet again.

It was folly to bring him in at all. Jones is damaged goods, just as surely as if he had a chronic bad knee. You simply can't count on him to be available from week to week.
