Re: Cowboys at Rams

This team had big questions coming in where pass coverage was concerned...

and now everyone has found out.

man, ware is a beast but he is a micro-cosm (sp?) of the problem with the cowboys. getting blown out 31-7 dude gets a sack and does that stupid *** dance of his. bruh, some perspective, shut up and get back in the huddle. they are a bunch of individuals right now, not a team. that is their biggest problem, and they don't have a leader (coach) to put them in their place...

and as good as he is, their starting QB isnt a leader either. In fact, his attitude sucks lately. No im not blaming Romo for this game OBVIOUSLY....Im talking about this season as a whole thus far.

I dont care what his numbers are. Romo needs to be more of a leader on this team instead of "going through the motions" like he did in the first 6 games. His attitude and demeanor has sucked since after the Green Bay game.

there is only so much a head coach can do. Where are the leaders among the players? That is the main thing that made the Cowboys of the 90s and the Cowboys of the 70s so good, besides their talent. Yes they had great coaches, but they had strong leadership among the players that was obvious. I guess Emmitt Smith wasnt so far off when he asked TO that after the monday night game.

btw, Brad Johnson is done. They should make him an assistant coach. There are just too many throws that he cant make any more.

Re: Cowboys at Rams

another btw...Romo should have played today. Favre was right.

Bad finger? LMAO give me a break. I dont care if he's a QB, he should have sucked it up and played...and the coaches should have let him suck it up and play. That was a bad sign on both sides. It is a microcosm of the mindset of this team.

I thought Romo wanted to play and was held out by coaches...?

I do agree that Romo's body language and demeanor have left something to be desired the past few weeks, and that this team does have a problem with leadership, or lack thereof.

It looks worse because it was a story the entire week and he ended up not playing. Guys like Favre, Big Ben, Rivers, Eli, Rogers, and many more have all played through injuries while Romo sat this one out. I don't blame him for doing so, but because such a big deal was made about the attempt to play, it ends up being a huge let down when he rests.
