You are right, we are all making educated guesses, including me. Maybe I don't want to believe Favre would do something that low, I'm not trying at all to be a Fave apologist at all.
It's more a thing of he said, he said. Glazer said they talked 60 to 90 minutes and Favre said it was 25 minutes. Glazer said Millen passed the phone over to the coach's, Favre said, I don't know if I was on speaker phone. If Glazer is so confident of his sources, why doesn't he name them and have them speak out to dispute Favre's story?
In the end, it's all a matter of who you want to believe. Favre is far from a saint, but I don't think he would try to sabotage the Packers. He still has good friends he keeps in touch with on the team, namely Driver and Jennings.
Even Charles Woodson said, if Millen contacted Favre, it's ok, if Favre contacted Millen, that is disrespectful. Favre told the reporters to tell Woodson Millen contacted Favre. If Favre is telling the truth, it appears the Packer players don't care. I also feel they are trying to keep it out of the locker room. I hope it dies a natural death, as the Packers have a bye week.

I also listen to what hasn't been said. All of the Detroit coaches have said no comment. Millen hasn't come out to defend his "hunting buddy". Driver has said no comment. And, I'm sure you know, if Glazer named his sources he'd no longer have sources... for this or any other story. No way in Hell that's happening.
The players don't care because they know it wouldn't make that much of a difference (we all know the final score of the game) but I bet you that if this were true none would be inviting Favre over for Sunday dinner ever again.
I know you don't want to believe Favre would do this. You're a Packer fan so that makes perfect sense. And the facts that we have don't say 100% that he did or he didn't so there's nothing wrong with leaning one way or the other. But personally, when I put together all the pieces of everything I know about Favre in the media back to speaking out against Walker and how it relates to his behavior when he wanted out; his statements about how he wanted to play for a team in the same division so he could beat the Packers; etc. Glazer's story sounds a WHOLE lot more believable to me than Favre's.
