Ravens Have a Bounty on Hines Ward?

Terrell Suggs was all over the radio stations this morning saying he was going to knock Hines Ward out of buisness...And that he and fellow teammates have something in store for him next game...

In general I think WR's are big giant "insert female body part here", but I love the way Hines Ward plays.

The dude broke a linebackers jaw. He gets nothing but respect after that.

I may be crazy here but is it wise to say that on the radio before the game?

If Ward does get an uncalled hit on him, that fine will likely be double or triple what it normally would be (plus suspension) since it's clearly pre-meditated.

But like I said, maybe that's just a crazy though.

Exactly, Suggs was never going to do anything other then run his mouth and hope to take Ward out of his game by forcing Ward to look for the big hit instead of catching the ball. Didnt someone try this in the past and the commish stepped in and said that if anything happened there would for sure be suspensions handed down? This is all much ado about nothing, imo.

This made me think of when former Vancouver Canucks Brad May said his team had a bounty on Colorado Av Steve Moores head on the radio. This after Moore knocked out the Canucks captain Naslund with a big hit the previous game. The following day Todd Bertuzzi jumped Moore from behind with a sucker punch, breaking his neck and ending his career.

Then again, that was hockey, but probably not smart to say it on the radio, if something does happen thats called premeditation.

Bart Scott said the same thing last year and was too much of a ***** to do anything. Same will hold true this year and next year and next year etc...

He broke a LB's jaw on a very questionable play.
I know the hit was legal but it wasnt necessary at all.
Throwning your forearm at someone while blocking them is never necessary.
It shows you the difference between the Bengals and Ravens though.
The hit against the Bengals happened in the first quarter, they had the whole game to get him back but chose not to.
