Cassel vs. Favre

A lot closer than it looks on paper. Hopefully the veteran pulls it off though.

Law is supposed to be the slot corner tonight. Not feeling too confident about a guy who just started practicing after being out of football for over a year covering Welker.

It would make more sense IMO to have Revis on Welker, while putting either Lowery or Law on Moss with some help over the top.

No way would I put Revis on Welker.

Welker is gonna get his regardless of who is covering him. Lowery on Moss is an absolute nightmare that I wouldn't want to witness.

You can only hope that the old vet Law's savyness will let him get a hand on a couple of Cassel passes.

Ugh, ****...

Ty Warren is inactive for the night. Without him and Adalius, we're ****ed. Thomas Jones is going to have a field day against us.

Re: Thursday Night Football: Jets @ Patriots

Good luck, I'll be around after the game, probably not during it.

Even though over the last few years the Jets have had some win or go home games, this feels like the most important regular season Jets game in a long time. If we win this game, we are a contender, and in very good position to win the division, and get a first round bye. Lose, and we are just the same as every other "good" Jets team we've had since 1998. Maybe win 9 or 10 games, make the playoffs, maybe win a playoff game, but never having a real chance to win a championship. It's time to take the next step. We can lose this game and go on to have a nice year, and say we did a good job of turning it around from last year, but this team is built to win now, with our QB situation we have no idea what the next few years will bring. Have to win this game.

If we lose this game Mangina should be fired tomorrow. We have a chance to take control of the division tonight.
