Re: Steelers @ Patriots

This game alone should put to rest any "Patriots will go with Cassel over Brady" rumors, or any comparisons between Brady and Cassel. Cassel will never EVER be Brady, or even come close to his league.

WHAT??? Welker dives on the ground 90% of the time. I have been waiting for him to take a hit for 3 years.

I loved it. This quick passing stuff New England does that is exactly how you get guys not running routes as crisp and hard over the middle.

I was disappointed a flag was thrown....no fun league.

I think it's that he hasn't faced a defense like the Steelers D.

I'm not sure I'd blame the weather Eli. The weather has nothing to do with the pressure Cassel has faced causing 2 of the fumbles. The third fumble on the kickoff was just a poor play by the kick returner.

Remember, both teams play in the same weather. It can't only affect one of them.

With that said, this is not what I expected. I fully expected NE to win this game against a Steelers team that I don't think is that good (defense is good, offense is questionable).

No - the fact that Welker could clearly see the ball get tipped and knew he had no chance at catching it is exactly how you get him not running crisp and hard routes over the middle. It was pretty obvious he slowed the moment the ball was tipped into the air.

Yeah, the fumbles have nothing to do with the weather. They were caused by Cassel not stepping up into the pocket, Light letting Harrison run right by him, and Slater being a ****ing moron.

Yup. It's been talked about both on here and off whether or not the Patriots should go with Cassel as Brady is 31, will now have a surgically repaired knee, and costs so much money.

****ing idiots. Brady on one and a half legs is better than Cassel.
