I hope the commissioner gets more tough and takes this kind of approach with habitual criminals or players whose actions bring disrepute to the league.

That being said, I'm a big second amendment supporter and my kind of gun control is hitting what you're aiming at, and being RESPONSIBLE.

No one should be denied the right to concealed carry without a real good reason. New York and other states have stupid, unconstitutional gun laws. Plaxico should have been issued a concealed carry permit, but he also should learn how to handle his firearm and have a holster and not use his gun as a toy. We should all have the right to self defense, an armed society is a polite society. There are plenty of states where guns are prevalent and we don't have wild west shootouts.

The hysterical reaction of sissy sports reporters who know nothing about guns and the second amendment have been ridiculous.
Think I might cancel my holiday to America, Scary stuff.

as for Pacman - Karma sucks

Yeah it is, but the league will be better without this clown. Future strip club owner anyone? I could see it now, Pacman doing cheesy commercials promoting his business.

What's scary? People have had guns in this country from the beginning.

The scary thing is when guns are taken away. Communists took away peoples guns and slaughtered them and put them in Gulags, they easily killed 100 Million in the 20th Century.

Hitler took away people's guns and started killing them, you think people with guns are easily herded into cattle cars and concentration camps?

Armed, law abiding citizens can choose not to be victims, if Sean Taylor had a gun he might be alive today, instead of a robbery and murder victim.

Gets more tough?

What does this even have to do with Pacman's injury and this thead? You're 2 for 2 in this one with the political post also.

Pacman is just another player that may not get to play anymore because of an injury.

NFL.com's Adam Schefter reports that Adam "Pacman" Jones' neck injury could end his career.

Not only is Jones' season over, Schefter says, his body went numb for two full minutes when he suffered the injury in Week 14. He's continuing to see specialists, but all signs point to Jones not playing again for a long time.
While I don't feel sorry for him I am scared about what this will mean for him in the future..he only knows football and is not financially set..He has a problem with alcohol and drugs...etc..what else will he do!!...lI see a Pacman in jail story coming in the near future

Award for the most off-topic and paranoid post of the year.

I was talking about the players conduct in general, I know Jones is injured now.
