Because you have no idea what Witten said to Owens. Once again, unnamed sources are feeding this information. No one that supports TO or is neutral in this thing is refusing to give his name & go on the record. It is some coward(s) behind the scenes that is blabbing all of this gossip. Witten could have been mad about the WR's meeting w/Garret & had some snide remark to say about it & TO reacted. Once again, you can't believe ESPN & anonymous people to tell the whole story.

Never said I did believe ESPN. I actually read this from one of Dallas' local newspaper sites(waits for somebody to say those writers always make stuff up)but considering the fact that he has done this SAME thing in Philly, I see no reason NOT to believe this isn't true.

He came to blows w/Hugh Douglass & Douglass admitted he started that one. That's the only time I remember him fighting a teammate. & I'd like to see a link to that Dallas newspaper.

I honestly don't think TO is as bad as he's made out to be....theres no telling what was said, and TO would have to be an idiot to start something else.

I think he does have a point though....there's been a couple of games this year where Romo was going to Witten like he was the only guy on the field. Even I at one point said thought it was a bit strange. Not that Romo is ignoring the other guys, I think he just sees Witten as a safe target.
