The press creates these fiascos. Owens said the Eagles would be better off w/Favre instead of McNabb. But who said that in the first place? Michael Irvin of ESPN. Then they ask TO about what Irvin said. He makes the "walk like a duck" comment about Garcia, but who asked him about Garcia's sexual orientation in the 1st place? He works out in his front yard. Did TO force reporters, camera men & helicopters to watch him do sit-ups?
Listen, if you want to blame the media, fine. They do add fuel to the fire for that there is no doubt, but I have been around TO. There is no way you can convince me, he's merely the victim of the media. He brings a lot on himself, and it's no coincidence it follow him from team to team.

But T.O is the "victim" and has done no harm.
Bill Parcells is egomaniacal despot who misstrusts anything he can't control.

and w/all that, why is only TO the one being singled out, if that were true? Once more, Owens isn't the only one complaining about Romo & Witten's relationship. Why is Owens the only person being dragged thru the coals? How is he the scapegoat?

I never said TO doesn't bring some of it on himself. He's gullible enough to think the media truly wants an honest answer. The press complains about getting cliches but jump in your tail when you don't give the standard line. That's why Rasheed Wallace says "everybody played hard."

Nope. I read it as her blaming the team first and singling out T.O. based off of his history.

As for that quote....wouldn't it apply more to Terrence Newman in this article given his statements?

Seriously man....you're searching to lay this at T.O.'s feet and the evidence just isn't there......yet.
The quote that I BOLDED would apply more to T.O because AGAIN, it's a recurring theme.

AGAIN, T.O had his little group when he was in Philly supporting him during his McNabb beef and now he has his litte group in Dallas with his current issue with Romo.

My beef isn't with folks NOT blaming this on him because that's not what I'm trying to do. But I don't get how some of you can sit here and portray him in this as if he's a perfect saint in this whole mini-feud,

Seriously, the biggest self-contradicting man in all of sports is all of a sudden an angel now? W.....T.....F

Because no matter where Owens goes, the same crap follows him. He loves attention and thus attention he will get.

I can tell from reading this post that your a bit biased.

Listen, all I've read so far is people being on T.O.'s side (the entire defense for starters as well as Roy Williams and Crayton).

Where are the people in Romo and/or Witten's corner on this one besides each other?

But you are. Basically your're saying it's all on the press. The press has fabricated this image of TO doing what he does. Which I can tell you is simply not true. He instigates it as much as anyone. He's not simply a creation of an over zealous press. And again, it's no coincidence that this stuff follows him wherever he goes.

Now I don't know what the deal is in Dallas just yet. But I am not surprised, and Cowboy leadership shouldn't be either. Much like TO himself said, if it walks like a duck....
