I wouldn't be surprised of they lose out & are done in the 1st rd. I would love to see more Mario Manningham
only time we play manningham is when we do 3 wide to the right and run a scrren for 1 yard

What's the valid point? That the #1 seed in the NFC is not going to win another game this year after losing two tough divisional games? http://www.operationsports.com/forum...-redskins.html The Giants were in a lot worse shape last year and the season ended up OK.

Re: Are the Giants looking at an 0-5 finish to their season?

My biggest thing with NY is I really think not having Plax will hurt them. Unless they expect to get 200+ on the ground every game, their going to have to make sure their on their best, IMO. I think everyone is starting to realize the hole Plax leaves on the team. Those WR don't look as good when their roles are bigger.

For example, Crayton looks better now as the #3, then he did earlier as a #2. It's not like in Arizona where you have 2 #1s and what not. Toomer isn't a #1, Hixon is probably a #3 at the moment, same with Smith. They need to include Boss more, IMO.

I still see them finishing first, but they are definitely beatable, and are vulnerable at the moment.

It's not just that it was tough games, they got dominated in both games. The offense was basically non-existant.

Saying they got dominated in the Cowboys game is beyond ridiculous.

Take away the final drive, because that was a stat padder, and the Giants had under 200 total yards for the game. Cowboys had 321, and they gave the Giants some help with over 100 yards in penalties. The Giants failed to score a TD for the first time since 2004.

How is that even close to beyond ridiculous?

Because if Witten didn't make that play on third down, the Giants would have had the ball with the game on the line.

So? The Giants couldn't run or pass. They barely threatened to score the entire game.

Dallas, on the other hand, moved the ball well. Penalties were the Cowboys problem, not so much the Giants defense.

The point is, if Carolina wins, the Giants lose home field. And if the Vikings beat them, they lose the first round bye. Both are plausible, and if they're in that frame of mind, the Giants are extremely vulnerable against Atlanta, Tampa, or Dallas in the wild card.
