That's a lot of "Ifs" you hope to happen, don't you think?

Who would have thought this three weeks ago? It would have seemed preposterous.

And no, it ain't that big a stretch for Carolina to beat them, or for the Vikes to beat them in Minnesota. The Vikes play serious defense, and the Panthers can score.

The Giants offense looks completely inept right now.

Well if it were me and I was coaching I'd do the complete opposite of what they did last season. I'd get them hyped up to win this next game and lock up the homefield and bye. The Vikings game would be nothing but scrubs(maybe a quarter or half of starters) while I try to get the team's head straight. Jacobs needs the rest as does Hixon and others.

Also teams putting 8 in the box doesn't mean much if those 8 aren't really committed in the there. With Jacobs back they will have to commit to the run thereby making the play action more effective and helping the receivers out.

Dallas, on the other hand, moved the ball well. Penalties were the Cowboys problem, not so much the Giants defense.

The point is, if Carolina wins, the Giants lose home field. And if the Vikings beat them, they lose the first round bye. Both are plausible, and if they're in that frame of mind, the Giants are extremely vulnerable against Atlanta, Tampa, or Dallas in the wild card.
After this excellent prediction, you should probably just worry about the Cowboys being able to stop the run instead of thinking the Giants would lose 5 straight.
