Re: Coach Of The Year?

No one mentions Tomlin. Big Ben roughed up the entire season. Playing behind a ton of injuries on the line. Losing his #1 then, # 2 RB. Holmes suspended. And the toughest schedule in the game. Only Clev & Cincy will have less than 7 wins. If Houston & SD win this week, they would have played 12 games vs teams .500 or better. But you've never heard the team whine about injuries & make excuses. They've suited up & played just as physical as they did the start of the year. They are the mirror image of their coach.

I can understand why some may want to pump other candidates. But Tomlin has got to be discussed in there, somewhere.

Smith and Sparano are neck and neck although my bias is towards Sparano because I'm a Dolphins fan and well... the Dolphins did have the #1 pick for a reason last year.

I think their success this year (hell every year), has more to do with LeBeau than Tomlin.

No one wants to give Tomlin any credit.
