Brett Farve Pro Bowl selection

How did he get selected to the Pro Bowl? His statistics and team record do not look impressive at all. Doesn't he lead the league in INTs? Does he even have an above 90 qb rating? I really want to know why people think he made it over others.

got in because of his name. it's not his fault and hes not the first to get in over someone who had better numbers because of who he is

this happens every year. Pro Bowl votes don't matter at all, as players duck out and get replaced every year anyways.

he went in over Phillip Rivers who's the highest rated QB in the league, who I think was tied for the league lead in TD passes and who's thrown for a significant amount of yardage more than he has.

It happens every year. Besides does anyone actually care about the pro bowl?

QB B: 32 TD, 11 INT (Will be chillin at home)

Now tell me that the Pro Bowl matters

I agree that it doesnt matter at the time but when evaluating a players career i think it plays a significant part. I really dont know of any justification on how he gets in over rivers who has better numbers and has a better shot at making the playoffs.
