I think the Eagles definitely have the momentum going in to this game. I'd like to see the Giants revenge that loss from a few weeks ago. We got our offense back so we'll thrash em.

Im thinking Eagles 24 Vikes 17

Re: NFC Wild Card: Eagles @ Vikings

I'm basing none of this off that massacre that was the DAL/PHI game.

Eagles are set up well against a quarterback who wasn't even the starter for the majority of the year (and for good reason). He has improved the last few games that he's started, I must admit. But now he gets to face a defense unlike any other in the Eagles. This matchup will be talked about all week.

But the X factor here is Adrian Peterson. The Eagles defense has to find a way to force Jackson into mistakes by pressuring him, but also not let Peterson run right through the blitzes for chunks of yardage.

Question: Is Pat Williams still hurt? That could be big for the Eagles offense.

I like the Eagles in this one. We'll say 27-17 in favor of Philly.

I think the eagles are going to pull what the Giants did last year. Win it all

If the Eagles get single-minded, not meaning pass vs. rush (b/c we know what they are going to do), but forcing the issue with Westbrook, they can forget it. Spread the wealth like they did against Dallas and this will be a foregone conclusion.

I wouldn't mind that. I'm not really a Philly fan - but they had a such a strong team for years, and made it to the Conference Finals something like 3-4 years in a row, and when they finally make it to the Superbowl, they lose it to NE. I'd just kind of like to see some of those players from those years finally make it and win it all. I think it would be nice to see.

Re: NFC Wild Card: Eagles @ Vikings

I'm gonna go out on a limb here and say that the Vikings will grind this one out and move on to the next round. Final score: 20-17, Vikings.

I like the Vikings because of their good, strong defense and that monstrous running game with Peterson at the helm. T-Jack has also been playing pretty strong as of late, obviously showing that the time on the bench has helped his development. The Eagles 'D' will put him in fits, though, and make the Vikings win it on the ground, which they're plenty capable of doing. The offense for the Eagles is far too inconsistent for me to pick them, as much as I'd like to as I dislike the Vikings.

Don't get me wrong, the Vikings aren't very consistent either, but their running game even on an off day is very good and I don't think the Eagles will have an answer for it. I too would love to see McNabb, Westbrook, and Reid win a Super Bowl, but unforetunately, I don't see it happening.

Looks like Pat Williams has been cleared to play in the game. God news for Vikings, we really missed him last game.
