Re: Jason Garrett interviewing for Lions head coaching job today

I don't think he's ready to be a head coach of any other franchise except Detroit. If he wins just 1 game as head coach, he's done better than his predecessor. A lot less pressure than taking over a team that has had some degree of success

For once, I agree with Freelance.

Icon2 Jason Garrett to likely be St. Louis Rams head coach

It's appearing more and more likely that Jason Garrett will be hired as head coach at St. Louis. The Rams plan to make an official announcement on who they have chosen as head coach later today. Garrett was one of the two finalists for the job along with Leslie Frazier, however it was Garrett who was the guy asked to return to St. Louis several days after having his first interview with the Rams. I would be shocked if Garrett is not announded as the Rams new head coach by the end of today.

Jason Garrett going back to St. Louis

Edit: Heh, color me shocked.

Who cares about Jason Garrett? Didn't you say he was getting the St. Louis job? Good call on that one.

Are you paranoid? I wasn't referring to you. There was a thread yesterday about it.

I'd fathom to guess so as well; all the NFL head coaching vacancies, sans the Raiders I think, are all spoken for.

I think Garrett and the Cowboys in general could serve themselves well to get some speed this offseason; once Felix Jones went down, the offense began to sputter because there wasn't another true home run threat, IMO. Certainly Roy Williams and Terrell Owens, as good as they may be, aren't deep threats.
