Personally, I would have went with Tony Sparano.

From 1-15 to the playoffs is an amazing turnaround and is unheard of.

However, I can't really argue too much against Smith, because he did a good job with a Falcons team that much like Sparano's Dolphins wasn't expected to even make the playoffs this year.

Good Choice either Smith or Soprano would've gotten my vote anyway...

Both Sparano or Smith were deserving, so no problems here.

I heard on CBS's pre-game show that Smith edged Sparano by 1 vote.

Either way, well-deserved.

So now Harbaugh gets zero votes? What did the Ravens do to the media?

Does anyone actually care about COTY? Do the coaches even care? The vote just goes to whoevers team sucked the year before and is now having a good year. It's easy to win COTY one year and be fired the next. Most pointless award I can think of.

For real, both Sporano and Smith are watching from home.
