Tavarius Jackson is not an NFL quarterback

If it takes time for a QB to learn the WCO then why throw him in there from almost the getgo instead of having him sit and LEARN it first?

Part of the reason would be the win now mentality of the NFL. Coaches and coordinators don't get the chance to develop young players like they use to. Look at the longest tenured coach in the NFL right now. Jeff Fisher. He was allowed to bring McNair along slowly and the titans had success. They get VY and he isn't afforded the same opportunity and look at what has happened there. After last season they had to let the OC go beacuse Vince wasn't progressing quick enough in his offense so now VY has to learn another scheme and try to learn on the fly and that didn't work all that well. If they didn't have Collins I wonder what the titans would be right now.

As far as Jackson. I really think that prior to the eagles game he was starting to get it a bit. I mean he did beat the super bowl champs. I'm not saying that he is there yet or even the long term answer but here are his numbers the last 4 games of the regular season.

You can say the Giants took the game off but he still lead them on a drive to win the game as time expired. I think watching Ferrote(sp) did him some good.

Jackson needs to scramble more to be even efficent as Quincy Carter was. And so whut are we talking about here, A player who has 1 year that was decent on a team that was above avg equals 1st round and out with Tavaris Jackson.

He has micheal vicks throwing skill set with Alex Smith's decision making process.

Childress would be better off drafting a QB or pursuing McNabb like his life depends on it because his NFL LIFE very well may.
