Last I heard Pioli to KC was dead, and the feeling is Pioli was going to stay in New England for another year.

It would be a good fit imo. Seperate HC and GM, check. Pioli wants to control personnel/players and Bowlen is a hands-off type owner, check.

Just read that Pioli would have to share control with Denny Thum.

I will never doubt Adam Schefter again. He nailed this hiring right on the head when Shanahan was fired.

His father is a legendary coach in Northern Ohio.

He'll be a great coach, someday...but I'm not sure he is ready right now.

Hopefully, Bowlen knows a lot more than we do. I don't see any Bronco people in here that agree with this decision. (Me included)
