Yup, there's a Hall Of Fame TE who played for both the Cards and the Cowboys, but Novacek's not him.

I would debate wholeheartedly how similar a position Shannon Sharpe as a TE with the Broncos and a NFL Wide Receiver are. But that is more a discussion of offensive game plans. The modern day TE is far closer to a wide receiver than any other position. I would be fine if they grouped them the same.
