Jets QB - (Anderson or Leinart) Who's Your Pick?

If a QB can only show flashes with the best WR duo in the NFL, then there's no way that QB will ever be a semi-consistent starter.

I wouldn't really hold that against a QB who's only been in the league a couple of years and only a couple of starts under his belt... but with that argument I'd guess you're saying the same thing about DA because he has some pretty good targets too. We're not really talking about Manning vs Brady here.

By no means to I think Anderson is actually a good QB. But Edwards was near the top of the league in drops the year he was actually good, while Larry Fitz and Boldin are some of the most surehanded receivers in the league. I suppose that because Leinart's still young and impressionable there's till an iota of hope for him.

If Leinart would've gotten it done the year he was the starter, Warner would have probably never gotten another chance once he was benched the first time. Also its hard to argue the age factor when they're both 25. Fact is, DA has shown that he can lead a team on a playoff run. Which is more than Leinart can say.

One thing I think most everyone agrees on is the fact that the Jets would probably be better off passing on both.

as far as the jets QB i think theyre going to give Kellen Clemens a shot at it and maybe bring in a veteran or a 3rd/4th rd draft pick to add to Brett Ratliff and whoever else

i just dont see them signing a bigtime QB after the favre debacle

I think they're both garbage, but, since Leinart's younger, he has more time to develop, so I'd go with him.
