Yep.

NFL Network's Adam Schefter reports that Michael Crabtree will be sidelined for the next ten weeks following surgery for a "slight" stress fracture in his foot.

He'll have a screw inserted into the foot. Crabtree has nursed this injury since mid-October in 2008, so it's no surprise to find out that something's seriously wrong. He will not work out at all before the draft. Crabtree's put a lot on film in Mike Leach's spread offense, but he risks falling out of the top 5-7 picks. He measured far shorter than expected on Friday and won't be able to answer questions about his 40 time at Pro Day.
The other big story is Alabama OT Andre Smith going AWOL this morning and showing up yesterday out of shape... word is he's slipping big time.

Outland trophy winner Alabama T Andre Smith was missing at the NFL Scouting Combine Saturday morning.

There are conflicting reports from Smith and his agent about where he was, and why he didn't show on Saturday. He has recently been located. Either way, this is the story dominating talk in Indy after Smith also admitted that he was out of shape Friday. Smith has a stellar on-field resume, but the Combine couldn't be going worse. This will hurt his chances of being a top-two tackle in the draft.

I think the NFL combine is the most overrated tool to judge a player

Kenny Britt had a whopping 23 reps, so much for his lanky weak frame eh Mayock? And he poor work ethic in gym? Good call Mayock.

I think this needs to be stated.

Joey Harrington.

Mathew Stafford.

Both use the part of their name that not many people go by (how many grown men are called Mathew that aren't Saints? not NFL saints but like christian saints)

He will then be a horrible bust. Don't draft him.

Show me a person that makes the right call every single time. There's a reason why teams want Mayock with them.

I feel bad for Beanie. It's impossible for a 230-ish pound man to jump and then stick a landing... like Faulk said... put him in shoes on a court, or in a sand pit... don't make the man keep jumping and losing his jump distance.

After all that he still did damn good. I think they shouldve just marked him when he held himself up on the stickman.. he didnt gain anything from it.
