I'm thinking Champ will see this and ask for a new deal or to be let go. He's on his $63M / 7 year deal, does his job and Hall gets cut, then resigns for that figure.

I dont understand why they even threw that much money at him, I have a hard time believing any other team would be willing to spend that much on him.

DeAngelo Hall has to be the luckiest MF'er in the world.

No that would be Stephon Marbury...Sit out half a season while getting paid, then get released w/ a 'compensation' package, and go to the defending champs.

So they give 20 Mil guaranteed to a scrrub Corner and give $100 Mil to a Defensive Tackle?

I see Snyder just couldn't resist the urge anymore.

I do not understand why people continue to be seduced by Deangelo Hall.

As far as Haynsworth, the guy is a good player, but allocating that kind of money to that position is just asking for problems. One, it throws the entire salary structre of your team out of wack, and two, there is a high risk of the player breaking down, and fast.

DT's arent exactly known for thier longevity, when it goes, it goes fast.
