Falcons’ 1998 Super Bowl team, is no longer with Atlanta.
Brooking became a free agent at 12:01 a.m. Friday, after negotiations for a new contract broke off.

Brooking, a five-time Pro Bowler, has lead the team in tackles for eight consecutive years.
However, last season he appeared to struggle in pass coverage, especially against running backs.
Brooking also had a role in Arizona successfully converting a third down-and-16 late in the wildcard playoff game.
