Thumbs up NY Giants have done a heck of a job in F.A (Defense)

They signed Michael Boley from the Falcons to be their starting weak side backer

They signed Rocky Bernard from the Seahawks to be their starting D-tackle...a guy who is very underrated and can rush the passer.

And right now they just locked up former Cowboy Chris Canty who will start at the other d-tacke spot

The Giants getting OSi back next year and the new moves have made their defense that much better

Somebody is going to be cut so expect Fred Robbins who has battled injuries and is going to be 32 to be cut...

The draft is next and we need to address a receiver...

I'm not even going to question these moves. Because as far as I'm concerned if Reese doesn't get another trade/draft/signing right for the next 3 years he gets a grace period from me automatically for the work he's done so far. I don't know how I feel about these moves but I'm going to STFU.

Yeah, I like how the Giants build their team. Their main focus is always the Offensive and Defensive lines. That plan should be the blueprint for any team that wants to be good consistently.

I really like how they are always trying to improve their depth on the Dline. Their rotation of defensive lineman is sick!

They invest very little money in the secondary. They figure if you can get pressure, you can win with average talent back there. I really like watching them rotating Dlineman in and out during games.

They are all about getting pressure on the QB, and their front 4 will be even deeper this year. I wish the Bucs organization was taking notes.

Giant fans should be REALLY happy about how their team is run.

Damn, Giants get a great player in Canty. He doesn't have a ton of stats even though he's been starting for Dallas for like four years, but in a 3-4, he was just taking up blockers... I bet he explodes in New York.

how could dallas let him go....i am a bit dismayed as a dallas fan...

sometimes, their front office, especially over the last 5 or so years really makes me scratch my head.

there arent' too many DE willing to do what canty did for dallas, and at 6'9", either. they worked hard to bring him along after his injuries in college...stupid frickin toads, what a waste of investment.

The Giants really know how to build a team. The guys they signed in FA all fit into that defensive system and will work very well together. I can see them having the most dominant defense in the league next season.

With regard to the Giants I'm not as interested in F.A. as rather what happens with Plax. The entire team has urged the front office to keep him including Jacobs & Manning among others; the Giants need to draft a WR regardless of whether he comes back however Reese has shown an exceptional talent in his views of players so w/his unified stance on disciple w/Coughlin I'm curious to see how Plax will be dealt with.
