Will anyone be kind enough to post the 89 draft like the 98 so i can compare. I dont doubt anyone i just wanna see what great starts came out in 89. Thanks

Since everyone was talking bout it like its common knowldge i figured there might be a thread or a few quick players off the top of someones head. We dont need you posting a link to google. 1983 is EASILY the best draft of all time. 1989 doesn't compare.

Looking back 1983 was pretty damned good, but I'd still go with 1989.

How the hell was Anthony Carter the next to last pick in the 1983 Draft?

I believe it was because everyone knew he was going to the USFL, or he had already signed with the USFL.

Thanks, I figured there had to be some reason. Did NFL teams who drafted players who went to the USFL retain their rights?
