Plus you are forgetting the fact that he has been struggling with so many injuries.

Ok so you guys are right,..LT's production hasn't been going down the last 3 years and he also wasn't hurt during critical playoff games during the last 2 years as well.

I am sorry guys,..excuse for my weak sports knowledge....

You're right about his production going downhill, but is that due to his age, or the lack of O-line production, as well as missing Lorenzo Neal? Neal was taken out of the offense when Norv came in, and Norv admits that. Last year, he was gone. As for the O-line, don't believe it's been going downhill since 2006? Look at the numbers. Why do you think the screen pass was such an integral part of the Chargers offense last season?

I'll give you the injuries, but when you can show me a RB with as many carries as LT has who ISN'T getting injured on a regular basis, let me know.

A lot of "experts" can project what they want. For at least the last three seasons, the projected first pick of the Chargers and the actual first pick have been different. Besides, they're already paying almost $14 million just for Sproles and LT. Do you really think that they would pick a RB in the first round just to pay him first round type money?

When RBs lose it, they lose it almost overnight. Christian Okoye, Barry Foster, Natrone Means, Marion Butts, Shaun Alexander, William Andrews (for you old farts).

If LT still has it (and I still think he does at this point), you'll know quickly next season. If not, it won't come back.

Good God you actually used that group of RB's? Try using players that are at least on par skill wise.

Personally, I think after next season Tomlinson is going to be done. At the beginning to middle of this year, I figured he'd be done after this season. However, should he have been cut, I would've gladly accepted him in New Orleans.
