Renegade...dude. Stop! You're embarrassing yourself. Damn near 100% of the opinions I've heard on this so far today (this is the story here) disagree with you. Racism or not, this kinda judgement the cop showed me that he shouldn't be a police officer. BTW, the ticket has been thrown out.

After letting Moats go inside, it would have been very easy for Powell to check and see if he was exaggerating or not. My logic would be let him go inside, check with doctors, if he is lying ticket him. If not, end of story.

Wow, i was hoping she wouldn't pass before they got up there. Sad stuff.

As far as the article, yes he did break the law, but the cop, when finding out it was a true emergency, should have let him go.

Guy was being a jerk.

The nurses came out and told the cop that the story was indeed true and she was dying. The cop didn't care.

All the cop had to do was check his story... He was not trying to flee in the vehicle... Compassion is important, I lost my mother last year to breast cancer and I was able to be there to say my goodbyes and I still feel the lost everyday but if someone took my last momments with her away I dont even know what I would do...

right.

my response was to deadduck who said there was no way of the cop knowing if he was telling the truth or not, which is why he justified the cop keeping him outside of the hospital.

Yes, we all know that happened because the officer was being unprofessional. Let's leave it at that.
