I knew about June. The Texans signed another ex Colt LB too. Name escapes me.

I didn't know about Boller. He's one of the better back ups in the league. Judging from Cal and the Ravens, he'll get better as he gets comfortable with the offense, but once he does he can be a great backup QB with a great attitude. I know they have different issues, but with their issues being on a similar level and coming out of the same draft, I still don't see any reason anyone should expct more of Leftwich than Boller. They're both not bad and not as good as their team and draft position expected.

I agree wwharton. Kyle took too much of the blame in Bmore. He has shown flashes but could never put it all together, that and the play calling in years past became a bit of a joke.

Yeah. In defense of Billick though, the offense was a joke too. The defense was insane and Heap was the only passing option so that limited things for both Billick and Boller. When they finally got some WRs they brought in McNair too... Boller played well during his chances during the McNair years. And to bring it back to what you were saying, the play calling was still pretty bad at that point which is why Billick got the axe.

Anyway, I'd love to see what he can do on the Rams with a different philosophy. I personally don't think he'll blossom into a starter but I am curious to see how it's gonna work out if he's forced into action.

Boller continues his career as a solid backup. Good for him. He worked hard in Baltimore but couldn't put it together, at least he's had a good attitude through it all.

Wish Boller the best. I dont think his performance was the problem in Baltimore. I think it was the offensive system he was in.
