Matthew Stafford Being Courted By the 49ers

Stafford is a bust waiting to happen...He is out of shape and already showing weaknesses in his character by denying to answer questions about his life! Get real! Us regular people are asked the same questions about our past for 10 dollars an hour, then drug tested before we get that big 1 dollar raise! This kid is soft and overweight! Im not sold on sanchez but i would take him before stanford. Stanford had one good season at Georgia....not exactly a QB factory! I like my chances with Sanchez!

But back to the topic of this thread the 49ers may very well have the chance to take matt, If teams realize Mark is the better bet. And I guess we should say Detriot realizes. Detriot is under so much pressure with this pick man! I dont think there has ever been so much pressure for a team to turn things around after 0-16 it dont get much worse. The raiders won 4 games i believe so there you have it. My Jets went 1-15 the year after we selected Keyshawn Johnson #1 overall. Even though he is my all-time favorite reciever I am not naive, he was not #1 pick material on a team that needed so many position upgrades. Similar to Detriot. I think the Lions should fill another need with this pick. The more I think about it the more I feel like none of these QB's are #1 pick potential.

If the Lions werent picking 1st would we be talking about Stafford so much?? no.

So im calling it now and will eat crow stew if im wrong but stafford looks weak to me mentally and physically he will break down from the punishment ala David Carr.
