Gibbs made things worse. He was a HORRIBLE GM. He went by Danny's standards in understanding free agency.

Yeah that sounds better I think Jackson would really help solidify that d-line and bring a TON more depth. I think at 9 is too high for Maybin though I really think the Packers desperately need someone who can rush the passer opposite Kampman. I also wouldn't mind seeing the Packers take Andre Smith, both of their tackles are aging and they really could use an infusion of youth and talent on the o-line. Smith is a top 5 talent who has a FEW character and mobility issues so he is a risk but there is also huge potential.

Who was brought in under Gibbs?

Carter, Springs? I know Randle El was right...

Re: NFL DRAFT WISHLIST

Malcolm Jenkins but if they trade back, the best defensive player available.

Re: NFL DRAFT WISHLIST

I do remember Gibbs did play a huge role in drafts Sean Taylor because from what I recall, Snyder wanted Kellan Winslow.

I have really softened on Smith over the last week. I would keep and open mind and trust that Ted T. and John Schnieder did their homework on his character.

Before the bowl games, I thought he would be a for sure 1 or 2 overall selection. The kid can flat out play.
