Who reported that? I have been listening all morning and they keep replaying John Clayton's piece on Brett- nothing will happen til june like last year.

I think thats vis versa, he took an awful team and gave them a shot at the playoffs

No rumor my friend, he is going to be a Viking... Just Accept it...

You think he is going to let the Packers beat him?

I'd be excited

Why exactly do you consider the Jets an "awful" team. And before answering, consider this:

- the year before last they didn't have a great record, just one year before that they were in the playoffs

- the QB he replaced led the Dolphins to win the same division... the same dolphins who went 1-15 the year before

- the Jets significantly improved their defense and offensive line before going after Favre. the team was built to have a solid running game with Jones, helping to improve the defense even more.

Ok, so how were they "awful" before magically becoming decent with Favre?

Re: Favre cut by Jets, how long

Yeah, by now I've pretty much accepted that Brett Favre will be back in the NFL next year and I'm pretty certain it's going to be with the Minnesota Vikings.

It's just a matter of when. Unfortunately for the rest of us...
