That's not really true. Don Coryell implemented that as a base formation before LT entered the league.

LT was great, but he basically was a stand up rush end. He would have to be in the right system to have the kind of impact he had.

Butkus would have been an impact player no matter the scheme or the era..

This is pretty close to mine, except I don't have Nietschke that high. Singletary is a little lower than Lewis and Lambert imo, because he didn't play the pass very well at all, while Lewis and Lambert had good instincts in the pass game.

Jack Ham is probably the most underrated LB I have seen. Either him or Randy Gradishar.
