Re: ******* Vikings miss their pick again!

okay last year they didn't miss there pick the chiefs and boys screwed up and they had a chance for sims but someone tell me who had a better year sims or mckinnie this year i don't care what people say if no one was biting on a trade they would have just made the pick anyways the got there man (yes i disagree i think they should have taken suggs turfant is overated) but you can't argue because thats who they wanted

Then they got ej henderson in the second which was a steal then they got a good reciever in the 3rd forget his name but he looks like with a bit of molding he could be great. He has that natural atheletic ablity. 40 plus in vert 4.5 speed he just needs some molding randy can help with that

I'd say Sims simply because he got more experience since he didnt sit out a chunk of the season.

but he got injured mckinnie was a force once he played he was a big reason why they ended so well cause bennet ran better because the line was good

now bennet gets a whole year of that all i have to say is look out 2000 years here we come
( maybe not yet)
and if we can get a legitment 2nd wide out bennet could be even more dangerus

Re: ******* Vikings miss their pick again!

I've watched Kevin Williams play quite a bit... unfortunately, he kept putting my team out of the National Championship run. I watched him demolish our double teams on him like they were kindegartners.

He was unblockable all last year, and he proved just how incredible he was at the senior bowl and blew everyone there up as well.

If you want to think of someone to put him in perspective, he is the closest thing to Leon Lett in his prime I have ever seen. He is *THAT* good. I was begging Dallas to take him with their pick, and Dallas was looking to trade down a few spots and take him cause Parcells wanted him pretty badly... but Newman slipped down to the Cowboys, who did not expect Newman to still be there, so they abondoned that idea and took Newman.

He is worthy of the 7th pick trust me. Your team's overall defense just improved in a very major way. As bad as it was to miss a pick, they proved they knew what they were doing with that pick. And I have their draft rated 2nd best overall (Lions had the best IMO).

EJ Henderson is another great player. Most people had him going in the mid first round (including me) that amazingly the Vikes got in the second. Wow, just wow IMO.

Nate Burleson in the 3rd was a little early, but he will make a great slot reciever who is clutch on 3rd down. His numbers at college were

Onterrio Smith was a steal in the 4th fo sho. How he got down here is incredible. He has the potential to be a star.

Both their 6th round picks were projected in the early 5th, so good deals there.

7th round they got a future return specialist who could excel there.

Great draft IMO.

Re: ******* Vikings miss their pick again!

Great draft by the Vikings. I like the Williams pick, and i'm glad they passed on Kennedy. Trufant would have been ok, but the bottom line is that you build a defense from front to back. If we don't get a pass rush, it won't matter who's playing cb. Henderson and Smith were steals at 2nd and 4th rounds. Burleson is an unkown commodity. Howry should step right in as the punt returner. Not bad for a 7th rounder. I'm pleased and excited.

Randy Moss is not going to mold anyone.
