NFL paintings - need your honest opinion

Hi jake44np, as mention before the US law grants individual artists strong first amendment protections in most states. The purpose of this law is to protect the individual artistic freedom to create original work of art. So far only one major claim regarding the "right of publicity" came to the court of law and was rejected and ruled in favor of the artist.


I can give you many perfectly good and legal examples of why original work of art laws are entirely different than the use of digitial media and mass production of the product. While the law is very extensive and interesting i really dont want to add more to this discursion since i only open this thread in hope to hear you guys opinion and to improve future paintings.

last group of photos, colors of the painting may look pale because of a bad lighiting and angle.

I really like the Johnny Unitas one.

Acknowledging that this is nitpicking bc all of them are seriously great. There is something going on with the legs/pads in most of them. The last one of TD, his lower body is too small, from the waste down. There also seems to be something funky with the back leg and pads like in the earlier ones.

If you're (or other artists) doing these on an easle it may be the angle that you're painting the legs. Not sure.

The ones that don't show as much leg, and the upper bodies of the ones that do, are pretty much perfect.
