Those two aren't even in the same ballpark as Forte. I'm not worried.

I was pretty surprised by Eli Manning. He had all the makings of a bust but managed to step out from under his brother's and father's shadows to make his own name.

yeah eli manning is a good one too. he was maybe not considered a bust, but definitely underpreforming (especially for being a punk with that san diego thing), then he beat 'the greatest team ever' and won a superbowl ring lol.

I still remember the bears beating his *** so bad (2005 i think) that they had to bring in warner...

mathias kiwanuka. coming out of boston college he was supposed to be a top ten pick. he had a bad combine and senior bowl practice and was supposed to drop out of the first round. the giants took him in the late first round and were criticized because they though they could have gotten him late 2nd or early 3 round. IMO i think mathias has fit in really well with the giants defense and has alot of potential at becoming a pro bowl combo DE/LB hybrid

Brad Johnson. Trent Dilfer. Jeff Hostettler. Mark Rypien. Eli Manning.

Marginal QBs who won Superbowls.

You don't have to be good to win a ring, you just have to not lose the big game ala Rex Grossman who was 2 or 3 first down throws away from beating the Colts.

The point is, he wasn't a bust. I never said he was great. I would say that he's good though.

What about Lawrence Phillips and Mike Williams from USC? Also Maurice Clarrett.

I think Clarrett wasn't expected to do too much after he was drafted, but I know people thought he would be great while he was still in college. I also expected Mike Williams to be a productive receiver.
