My advice...if you've followed a college player or a local guy...pick the team that took him in the draft. It'll give you the emotional roots to grow into a fan of a team.
This.

To add to all my and the previous Ravens fans points, they beat the **** out of the Dolphins in the playoffs (after beating them in the regular season) and made their wildcat offense look like peewee football.

Defensive Stars include-

Ed Reed
Ray Lewis
Haloti Ngata
Terrell Suggs
Kelly Gregg
Trevor Pryce

Offensive Stars include-

Joe Flacco
Laron Mcclain
Derrick Mason
Todd Heap
Willis McGahee
Ray Rice (star in making)

Anyone but the Ravens or Steelers.

Why don't you just root for Atlanta? Nice young team who's going to make noise in the next few years. Then your name here fits your team.

So in all, your points are a "rich" history featuring a team that has not been consistently good in decades,
What the ? Are you serious? Were you born in 1995? The Dolphins have been a consistently good franchise. Since 1970, they've had five losing seasons.

edit: the Ravens have had 6 since 1996, lol.
