My thoughts on this are... look at the mistakes and move on to game two.

Right now is a perfect setup for this team to implode on offense. QB - WR confidence is really low right now. Whatever issues there are, they need to be fixed throughout the week.

What is more interesting is both Orton and Cutler were put in a position with a minute or less left and needing to move the ball FTW.

One threw a TD while the other threw a INT. Couldn't have set it up better for a sports writer.

It makes a great story. I watched that Bengals game and Orten was the same Kyle Orten. Couldn't make the big throws, incomplete passes or short check off throws. Cutler was probably what he was for the Broncos. Big plays, bad plays. Nothing changed. One got the win the other the loss.

Yet I am sure the media will make some big story out of it tomorrow.

Agreed 100%. There will be weeks where everyone will say "Wow Cutler is awesome Denver is stupid for trading him." And then there will be weeks like this where people say "Wow why did Chicago trade for Cutler."

Sad thing is this will be an issue every week in this forum and in the media.

Bears fans will learn to love him and hate him on a week to week basis.

He is so talented but makes some dumb decisions. Tonight was a bad night, don't expect what he did tonight on a regular basis, but still, there will be games where he will leave you scratching your head.

Exactly. Just sucks for Orton and Cutler because they not only have to compete against opposing defenses but will always be compared head-to-head against each other. They may not state it but Im sure that is in the back of each of their minds.

Unfortunately, week #2 opponent brings the same kind of D and heat as the Packers did. It's all about making adjustments.
