Aren't these two predictions rather hm, contradictory?

Not if you give Peterson 30-40 carries a game I suppose.

Re: Official NFL Prediction Thread

New Orleans will be the most exciting team in the NFL, Reggie Bush will finally show glimpses of his USC days.
Watch out for Houston and Green Bay to surprise, Dallas to stumble in the NFC East which includes possibly the three best teams in the NFL.
Denver to sign Michael Vick, Arizona to reach the playoffs just because their in a weak division and Indy to miss out.
The Chargers to lose in the AFC Championship game for a thirs straight year.

AFC Playoff Teams: San Diego, New England, Tennessee, Pittsburgh, Baltimore, Miami.
NFC Playoff Teams: N.Y Giants, Carolina, Chicago, Arizona, Washington, New Orleans.

Pittsburgh to meet the Giants at Superbowl XLIV. Giants win.

Nope :-) I think a QB's effect on his team is greatly exaggerated in the media. Trent Dilfer went 7-1 and has a SB ring in 2000. It's entirely possible that Minnesota dominates in spite of Favre rather than because of him. Also, it's entirely possible for Favre to do great and Minnesota to finish 8-8, in which case I'd be wrong on both.

Re: Official NFL Prediction Thread

Roy uno uno(Roy Williams) has less than 1,000 yards recieving, less than 10 TDs and Wade gets fired at the end of the year.Tony Romo will go to the Pro-Bowl again.

I could be wrong but I believe he was saying this sentence is contradictory not realizing Mattie meant after this upcoming season:

Well I won't steer this away from the topic but i'll just say Dilfer didn't perform poorly when he was with the Ravens that year. He did what he was asked to do and played adequate.

That's a huge difference from Favre playing poorly and making bad mistakes.

We'll just see how it goes.
