And usage isn't exactly "demonized" like it use to be so we all know the mass numbers who aren't admitting to some form of usage. I just feel if he's bringing it up to explain lowered expectations on the field then we're not talking about a casual smoker.

I knew about his habits in 2002 when i was a freshman in college, i had a buddy come visit from MSU and he said Rogers and (ironically lol) Smoker got down all the time. Plus i think he said Rogers had a few kids out of wedlock at that point too. Didn't think it was much of a secret.

Either the NFL teams need to do a little bit more digging, or this must be common and they just look the other way.

Funny thing is they didn't even win that game. They gave up a 60 yard TD to Arnaz Battle 30 seconds after that and lost.
