This is the year that the Raiders finally make strides in the right direction. Talent won't be "squandered" in Oakland anymore. Maybe still for recievers because I'm not the biggest JRuss fan, but I believe Mitchell will rip it up once he gets in unless Tyvonn Branch ends up being better. I think Branch might be better in pass coverage, but that makes for a better corner (his college position) or a free safety. We'll see what happens in preseason.

All I see in Mitchell is a guy who goes for the big hits, and is an otherwise average safety. I loved seeing him back a big hit, and get all excited, but the fact is the other team just got a 1st down on the play. Wow, great job kiddo.
I personally believe he can be a decent starting safety, anything special? No.
