It's just a discipline thing.

He just was the mook to screw up first after Singletary laid down the law.

He'll be back in camp today unless he pouts or something.

Alex Smith can't play... Said it when he was drafted, saying it now. It's been proven right, and it won't change. He was at least tolerable with Norv Turner as the OC, but nothing more.

The 49ers best chance is to keep building on defense, improve the running game, and turn the passing game into a manager-only scheme. Not traditional 49er football, but that's their only chance right now considering the garbage they have at QB.
