If you look at like their last 10 draft classes, they average less than one NFL starting caliber player per draft. (Over the course of the players career). No one should be bragging about Al Davis's draft, Free Agency or coach hiring prowess.

All I'm sayin, (and by no means am I some kinda Raiders fan or Al davis fan...ugh) is he may have drafted the 3rd or 4th best WR, we wont know til the guy plays some...but compared to people who predicted them to take Crabtree....hmmm at least they have a 1st rounder in pads playing instead of a guy whos refusing to sign...thats my only comparison i was drawing there...so maybe he knew something or his guys did, about Crabtree...and thats why carbs didnt get taken when guys such as kiper had predicted him there...ya know kiper has the advantadge of being a draft genius...oh yeah cuz he can change his picks up til theyre taken...then claim he was right...like the guy earlier in this thread said, Kiper? yeah if he's so good how come hes working at ESPN still after all these years and not on an NFL team?

Re: So why aren't these teams dysfunctional?

I'm really tired of all this complaining by the Raiders organizations and it's fans. People don't care enough about the Raiders to participate in the conspiracy that you guys wish was going on to shut the team down. Al Davis is senile and you have a horribly run organization that hasn't won anything since they went to the Superbowl.

No one thinks Kiper is good. At least no one that truly follows the game.

Mike Mayock had Crabtree much higher than Darius-Bay, and that's all I need to hear.

Whether you get them in camp or not, makes no difference when your first round pick is a guy that would have been available a round or two later. Now you are paying first round money to a complete reach.. Something the Raiders have been doing for the better part of two decades, and explains why they are now the worst franchise in the game.

Just so you know. It ain't as bad as you think it is. Some of these guys just don't play for the Raiders anymore lol. If anything we had worst drafts before the last 6 yrs. So what does this have to do with our dysfunction? Just because they weren't highly praised picks when they were drafted doesn't mean they were bad picks. Most of the picks are starting in the NFL somewhere.
