Who is your choice for QB?

Randall Cunningham circa-1990. I wanna know how that play making ability would work with an actual offensive line, decent receivers and a competent coach.

I'd say Manning, Marino, Elway but Steve Young for sure too.

Since becomming a fan in 2000, I'm slowly getting more and more history in and seeing hilights and stats. Young was extremely impressive to me.

I think the Eagles in circa 1990 needed at least ONE big time WR and they'd have been set IMO. Remember the team was a run oriented club what with Cunningham, Toney, Heath Sherman and even Keith Byars contributing a little. The passing offense was mainly through Byars and TE Keith Jackson. Fred Barnett wasn't a bad WR though he'd be a #2 or 3 WR on another team. Mike Quick was still hanging around and Calvin Williams was supposed to be a great player but turned out to just be a solid guy for a few years.

All in all the Eagles of that time period only needed that one superstar WR and a better head coach. The O-line wasn't THAT bad though it wasn't one of the better ones either.

I'd go with Elway, but Montana and Marino are right up there with him. It's a tough pick.
IMO I don't think Manning or Brady belong in the same sentence as the previously mentioned QBs. In my mind no one tops Elway, Montana, or Marino. ever.

It's not that Brady or Manning aren't great in their own ways, because they are. I just find that those 3 QBs are on a higher, untouchable level. I really dont have a big reason why, it's just what I think.
