Wonder how long it's gonna be before this firing is TO's fault?

Supposedly he took the blame on his twitter as a little joke lol.

And to SPTO, being a Bucs fan myself, I was always a big Gruden fan from back when he was with Oakland, so when we got him in Tampa, I was ecstatic. And our problem last year really wasn't the QB so much. Jeff Garcia's a solid west coast type QB which is what Gruden likes to run. The real problem was that Antonio Bryant was our only legitimate threat to give the ball to. Our running game took a step back, and we didn't have a #2 target in the passing game so like in our last game against Oakland, they could just put Asomugha on Bryant and shut the entire offense down in doing so. He's a good coach, very demanding (unlike Jauron), he was just dealt some poor cards, whereas the Super Bowl Bucs had solid, not spectacular targets, and an overachieving running game (and one of the best defenses ever of course).

Schonert spoke about the firing in an interview with Bills play-by-play man John Murphy. To steal a line from Kel Mitchell (whatever happened to him?), "Aw, here it goes!"

News 4 Sports spoke to Schonert by phone Friday afternoon. He says he was informed about Jauron's decision during a Friday morning meeting. And he talked about the serious philosophical differences he had with Jauron about the Bills offense.

"He (Jauron) told me the offense wasn't simple enough for him," Schonert said. "We had too many formations, too many plays. I didn't simplify it to his liking."

"He wants a 'Pop Warner' offense," Schonert said, referring to the Bills head coach. "He limited me in formations, and limited me in plays. He's been on my back all offseason."
Ouch. Not kind words at all. But myself and 98% of Bills fans would probably agree with Turk. After the 5-1 start, "Pop Warner" would be the best words to describe our "attack" last year.

I think this is the first swift kick to the groin Jauron receives this year. Next, it'll be the media. Then, it'll be TO. And finally, it'll be Ralph Wilson sending him his early retirement check in the form of a contract buyout. I guess firing him and his staff (minus Bobby April) should've happened in the offseason because who knows what kind of instability the team will endure if he gets fired midway through the year. But at least Bobby April will be at the helm. Jauron has as much fire and aggression as one of April's fingernails.

Does anyone see a connection between the offense's struggles and the complete shift and turnover on the offensive-line? I know many may not agree, but losing a foundation-building piece like Peters was going to hurt the offense. It also doesn't help that our starting QB is injury-prone, inconsistent and easily flustered/rattled by pressure. The New England game is going to be a massacre, possibly worse than 2 seasons ago.

Oh so the offense is too complex for Jauron?

HOW THE HELL WAS THIS MAN A SUCCESSFUL COORDINATOR!?

I agree, once the Bills were riding high at 5-1 the offense got more and more simplified and predictable to the point where it was lifeless. Oh well the one positive is that Jauron will be out on his *** by Week 8 or so.

That's definitely at the root of the Bills' problems. It's unfortunate that they got a veteran like TO just as their OL became the youngest and least experienced in the league. You can't start five guys at completely new positions and expect to have a competent OL. I guess that's what the no huddle was supposed to hide.

I'm dreading this season. Absolutely dreading it. I'm scared of what New England might do to us on Monday Night Football.
