I'm happy they didn't cut Tom Nelson. IDK, I had a feeling they would.

Yea...hopefully he can actually stay healthy this year. Doubt it though

Re: Official Roster Cuts Thread

The Jets have been awarded two players on waivers from the Titans — P A.J. Trapasso and TE Matthew Mulligan, according to sources.

Trapasso is best known for hitting the new $40 million scoreboard in Dallas, creating a firestorm. His arrival means incumbent Reggie Hodges is a toast. No surprise there. Rex Ryan made it clear yesterday that they were looking for a punter.

Mulligan, a second-year player, is regarded as more of a blocking tight end than a receiver. He will back up Dustin Keller and Ben Hartsock.

Re: Official Roster Cuts Thread

St. Louis claimed two players. The St. Louis Rams were awarded LaJuan Ramsey, DT from TEN, and Anthony Smith, S from GB on waivers.

Also - according to Adam Schefter - Jets trade for QB Kevin O'Connell, whom Detroit claimed on waivers from New England.

Detroit claims former Vikings CB Marcus McCauley off of waivers.

The Cleveland Browns claimed former Ravens 6th-rd pick Cedric Peerman and former Rams tackle Phil Trautwein on waivers. They will need to cut two players to make room for them on the 53 man roster.

Woah really, Saints signed QB Chase Daniel? Haha, the Skins were sooo sure they had him locked up on their practice squad. Good signing. That's a nasty 3 deep QB depth chart in NO.

Re: Official Roster Cuts Thread

Patriots signed QB/WR Isaiah Stanback to their practice squad.

NFL.com's Jason La Canfora notes that the 2007 fourth-round pick got "lots" of offers from other teams, but the Pats were the only one willing to let him play QB, his college position. Stanback was tried at wideout in Dallas.
