Re: NFC north prediction thread

I'm a huge Bears fan but Aaron Rodgers looks even better and the Packers are taking to the 3-4. Vikings will be strong and my Bears will be there.

Packers-------12-4
Vikings--------11-5
Bears---------10-6
Lions----------4-12

Both wildcards come out of the North this year.

Both Vikings games, the Ravens game, both Bears games, the Cardinals game and the Cowboys game aren't easy wins by any means. If you really think they will win 6 out of those 7 games and avoid having a bad game in any of the others than more power to you. I see them getting 10-11 wins MAX.

Re: NFC north prediction thread

The Cardinals game might not mean much(assuming we're already in the playoffs and have the division locked up)but other than that, winning 5 out of that 7 can be done. The only teams that actually have me "worried" is the Ravens(right after Pittsburgh) and the 2nd Bears game in Chicago.

The Packers looked more than good with their first teams on the field. Aaron Rodgers has a better run game with Ryan Grant unhurt and happy with his contract, and he has the best WR corps in the league 5-deep. Their Defense is looking great, and it looks like they will continue to be a ball hawking defense with some improvements to consistency. 12-4, Wins NFC North

The Bears have a quarterback, yes that's right, a quarterback. They have a little trouble on D, but should be better overall this year. 10-6 Wins Wildcard

The Vikings made moves that center in on winning right now, but Brett Farve is a horrible fit for them. On a team with one the best RBs in terms of pure rushing, Adrian Peterson, and a great all around RB in Chester Taylor, they got the most interception prone QB in the game in Farve. Adrian will win RB of the year, and may even get upwards of a TD per game, and their line will be their line, a phenominal left side. While their Rush D in phenominal, but they will have trouble against Rodgers and Cutler and will finsh thrid in the North.

The Lions are the doormat of this division. I mean, they have Calvin Johnson, Matt Stafford, Ernie Sims..... uh.... Look for Calvin to imprive, but don't expect anything this year out of them. 2-14, bottom of the league.

I think the division as whole(including the Lions)could surprise a few people this year on how really good it is.
